忘問恩人姓名 日客寄信來台盼尋影中人

〔記者蔡愷恆／台北報導〕一名日本遊客桑原先生於本月中旬來台旅遊泡溫泉，卻因為身上現金台幣不夠無法入場，一名年輕的台灣人主動換錢給他。桑原先生表示，過往在台灣也遇到很多台灣人幫助，這次經歷又留下美好回憶，並寄信到本報詢問是否能協助找尋年輕人的姓名與聯絡信箱地址，並附上照片。根據照片顯示，這名年輕人疑為演員朱軒洋。

桑原先生表示，自己是一名在日本橫濱工作的中年公務員。本月中旬，他來了摯愛的台灣。這次，在台北享受了美食之後，搭乘新幹線前往台中，並在最後一天去了之前去過一次的行義路溫泉。當進入溫泉池，準備在前台支付門票時，卻發現信用卡和台灣旅遊卡都不能用。工作人員說，日圓現金也不能用，他突然不知所措。身上只有少量的台幣，是用來支付去行義路溫泉的巴士車費的，但因為那天是回日本的日子，身上沒有台幣了。

就在這時，一位在前台附近的台灣小伙子用英語問：「有什麼可以幫到您的嗎？」桑原先生解釋說，手頭上沒有多少台幣，問他能不能幫忙問問前台是否接受日圓支付門票。這位年輕人很友善地主動換台幣給他。桑原先生大讚：「真是好心的台灣年輕人！」並說之前去台灣旅行時也遇到很多台灣人幫助，這次的經歷又留下了美好的回憶。

桑原先生說，他還有一個請求，因為忘了問那位好心年輕人的名字，寄信到本報詢問能否幫忙查一下他的名字和聯絡信箱地址？並附上合照，說想再次感謝他。

桑原先生也附上英文信件，內容如下：

I am an older individual working as a civil servant in Yokohama, Japan. In the middle of this month, I traveled to Taiwan—a place I love dearly. After enjoying delicious food in Taipei, I took the high-speed train to Taichung, and on my final day, I visited the Xingyi Road Hot Springs, a place I had been to once before. Upon trying to pay the admission fee at the reception desk, I discovered that neither credit cards nor Taiwan's EasyCard were accepted. I was at a loss when told that Japanese yen cash was not accepted either. Although I had a small amount of New Taiwan Dollars (NTD) for expenses like the bus fare to get there, I didn't have any NTD banknotes on me, as it was the day I was scheduled to return to Japan. Just then, a young Taiwanese man near the reception desk approached me and asked in English, "Is there anything I can help you with?" I explained my situation—that I didn't have enough NTD—and asked if he could perhaps speak to the receptionist to see if they would accept Japanese yen for the fee. Instead, he kindly offered to exchange the money into NTD for me. It is truly amazing how many kind young people there are in Taiwan. I have been helped by Taiwanese people in various situations during my travels there in the past, and this experience has become another wonderful memory of my trip. I have one final request: I forgot to ask for the name of the young man who was so kind to me. If at all possible, could you find out his name and contact details—such as his email address—and let me know? I would like to thank him properly. Thank you very much for your assistance.
